The “Philanthropy Endowment Fund for teaching, research, promotion and innovation in philanthropy” aims to promote innovative and effective philanthropy by supporting publishable applied and fundamental teaching and research in the field of philanthropy.

The Fund aims to encourage professionalization and effectiveness and to promote research and innovation in the field of philanthropy. In addition, the Philanthropy Fund will also be a platform for information, advice and accompaniment for individuals wishing to engage in or learn about philanthropic activities.

The Fund can grant financial assistance to submitted projects (particularly the European-focused Philanthropy Chair at ESSEC, as well as other teaching programs and scholarships), and directly perform activities (organizing conferences, participating in symposia, researching and writing  books and articles) and studies of philanthropy, philanthropists and related issues.
